- Planning Your Call

- PLAN Assuming you have the hardware and software you'll need, you are
- YOUR ready to make that first call. Be sure to plan your call ahead
- CALL of time. Determine what you would like to do. Plan around the
- times when your favorite board is least likely to be busy. With
- experience you will be able to get on the BBS, transact your
- business, and log off with a minimum of time and expense.

- Locating an OPUS(tm) system near you should be quite easy.
- We publish a list of systems and a "nodelist" for mail purposes.
- In addition, you will likely find a listing of local
- boards available on many BBSs in your area.

- Remember, when calling, that each OPUS(tm) system is run
- exclusively by its Sysop. Requirements for registration (if
- any) will vary from board to board. Some systems may be
- completely private.
